Based in Canelands (off Vincent Dickenson Drive), and central to all Northern Suburbs, projects and developments, Ndwedwe Road Quarry(NRQ) is a fully licensed blue stone quarry operation that produces and supplies top quality aggregates and stone products, including blended grades from G2 through to G9 materials, and 26mm stone down to crusher sand sized products as well as primary blue products.

Ndwedwe Road Quarry is affiliated to Flanders Aggregates Pty Ltd in all its business activities and is responsible for all Primary Mining and Development at the Quarry. Downstream processing is undertaken on behalf of NRQ by Flanders Aggregates.Reserves of Dolerite are blasted, mined, crushed, graded, and screened to ensure that the end product meet SANS, TRH14 or COLTO specifications (by agreement). Concrete stone aggregates, Base and Subbase material is produced by Ndwedwe Road Quarry. The mining and crushing of durable and sound rock ensure that the product is consistent, reliable and of a high standard.

 Total current reserves are estimated more than 8.0 million metric tonnes at Canelands, giving a remaining Life of Mine of about 8 years. Additional reserves are being explored at present to extend life of mine into the future, as well as additional operations in due course.The professional management and staff also ensure that business is dealt with in an appropriate, trustworthy, and efficient manner.
